The overall building is designed as a box wrapped with a modular brick layer. To create a dynamic facade, certain areas like the living room and terraces protrude outward, revealing a vibrant orange hue that contrasts with the neutral brick. These cubic forms intersect, generating wider windows that maximize natural light from the south.
While the kitchen facade maintains a continuous brick covering for a clean and cohesive look, the living spaces benefit from expansive glazing. Despite having identical floor plans across levels, variations in window placement were introduced to avoid a monotonous facade and ensure visual interest.
First Floor Plan
In the west side, the orange surfaces subtly alter the rhythm of the bricks as they transition toward the open, cubic facade on the south. This dynamic interplay of materials and volumes helps to break the monotony of a repetitive floor plan, adding vibrancy and uniqueness to the overall composition.
