Down-Hill Villa

This project is currently in the design phase while the construction process has already begun. Located on a downhill slope in a scenic forested villa zone, the client approached us with the desire to create a distinctive villa that stands out from the surrounding properties.

Client Needs and Design Approach

Despite the relatively limited size of the land and yard, the client—an avid swimmer—requested a long swimming pool, while his wife desired comfortable sitting areas both on the porch and the first floor. Our design strategy focused on maximizing functionality within the compact site while ensuring the villa’s form remained unique and visually striking.

Design Evolution and Final Choice

Several design alternatives were developed, each meeting the client's needs and all receiving their approval. Ultimately, the clients chose the option featuring a curvy roof, appreciating its distinctiveness and the dynamic architectural character it brings to the villa.
